Footsteps believe in supporting local charities in Northamptonshire.
Here are a few we have helped over the last few years.
WEST END SHOW FOR CANCER PATIENTS IN NORTHAMPTON
Since May 2009 we have been raising money for Cancer patients under care of Northampton General Hospital and have already reached a fantastic amount of money...currently in the region of £2,000.
On Wednesday 17th March 2010 we took a group of people to see the West End Show Sister Act for patients and family who are undergoing or have received treatment for Cancer. A great day was had by all, below is some of the feedback received:-
Thanks so much for the wonderful trip sister act, we all had a wonderful time, it was such a lovely and thoughtful idea and again we all really enjoyed the day. THANK YOU!! I do hope your friend will hear some good news soon, take care Alison Taylor.
Once again you did a super job with your trip for sister act on Wednesday, my sister and I had a lovely day out and she very much appreciated the thought that went into arranging the day out. She was at the hospital on Friday for tests and the trip helped to take her mind off it a little. Looking forward to travelling with you again soon. Regards. Doreen Nichols.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those that helped arrange last week. It is a welcome release for those who are or have been undergoing treatment to have such a lovely day out arranged for them and I think it is so kind of everyone involved to make it possible. As the trip was such a success we are going to continue this campaign into 2010 and hope to raise more money with raffles, to take other groups to London to see a West End Show.
The next trip planned is to take children, who have a parent affected by cancer. We hope to take them to London to see the Lion King around christmas time.

THE MOONWALK MAY 2008
In 2007/08 Footsteps raised in excess of £1000 for the walkthewalk breast cancer awareness campaign.
On the 17th May 2008 - 12 of us were fortunate enough to obtain a place and walked 13.4 miles around the streets of London through the night in our decorated bras.
2006/07
We raised in excess of £400 of which we gave games consoles and accessories to the Disney Ward at Northampton General Hospital.
